Dinesh Bana Biography

Dinesh Bana was born in the Dhansu village of Hisar, Haryana, India, on December 15, 2004.

His father, Mahavir Bana, is a retired Army officer who now works for the Haryana Police Department as a head constable.

Darshana Devi, Dinesh Bana’s mother, is a stay-at-home mom. Nitika Bana is his younger sister. So, Dinesh excels at reading and received an 85 percent grade in the tenth grade.

Dinesh Bana, who is retired from the army and works as a head constable for the Haryana Police, said that despite his desire for Dinesh to become an engineer, he never stopped him from playing. He is also a sports fan, which is why he has always backed his son Dinesh.

When Dinesh was told that the selectors were coming to see his performance, he told his friend Nishant Sindhu to count the number of sixes he was going to hit. In 2021, Dinesh Bana was chosen for the Vinoo Mankad Trophy, where he scored 180 runs, including an unbeaten 70 at a strike rate of 90.

Dinesh successfully demonstrated his worth by hitting two sixes in two consecutive balls of England’s fast bowler James Sales in the Under-19 World Cup final.

With 13 runs off 5 balls, he remained unbeaten and also managed to take 4 catches. His match-winning six reminded fans of the 2011 ODI World Cup, when Mahendra Singh Dhoni finished the game by hitting a six at the end, as he usually does.
