Cricket Rohit sharma was born on April 30, 1987, in Nagpur, Maharashtra, India, to parents Gurunath Sharma and Purnima Sharma. His father worked as a caretaker in a transport firm in Mumbai, while his mother was a housewife.
In December 2015, Rohit Sharma married his longtime girlfriend Ritika Sajdeh, who is a sports event manager. The couple had been dating for six years before getting married. Their daughter, Samaira, was born in December 2018.
Rohit Sharma is known to be a family man and has often credited his family for his success in cricket. He has also been involved in various philanthropic activities and has supported causes like education, health, and disaster relief through his charity foundation, Rohit Sharma Foundation.
